Putrajaya Holdings Annual Dinner

Last nite was company dinner.. I had to do a stage performance dat nite. WaaAA~~ Our performance is a dance.. I really not good at dancing..i only danced once when i was doin performance during kindergarden. Haha.. The best part is i only have 3 days to practice.

I left office early to have practice at Pallace of Golden Horses. We practiced a lot since it is our last chance. I think we did well..even during the full rehearsal. I can't really sit still..i was so nervous. After full rehearsal..we all went to our room 2 get some rest. I took a bath n get ready with my costume arround 6pm. We had to move our props to the VIP room since the room r booked until 8pm only.

I went down and get separated from my group..so i registered alone. Since i was wearing a Mexican costume..a photographer asked to take a picture of me. So i juz stand in front of the backdrop and then a cameraman approach me n they interviewed me. lol!! My sentences was so SKEMA.. (when i'm nervous...i talk without thinking)

Interviewer: So..apa harapan anda utk event ini.

Stupid me: Saya harap event ni akan terus diadakan setiap tahun so that all staff can have fun n at d same time dpt rapatkan silaturrahim. (it sounds something like dat i think)

So..dat nite the MC was Fara Fauzana n Elly Iskandar. The artists were Ezlynn n Jamal Abdillah. They were very2 profesional n spontaneous..making us laugh a lot. Our performance was at 9.20pm.. 1st half of the dance went well but i bump into Syed during a move n lost concentration. Made some mistake.. *sigh* But i think it is good enuff since i got only 3 days practicing something i dun hav talent to. Haha..

That nite also had Best Dress n also Lucky Draw.. For d best dress..it is divided into 3 categories.. Men..ladies..n couple. MC announced d top 5 candidates and i was 1 of 'em. HAHAHAHA!! For d 2nd time i had to go up stage.. I got a loud cheer from my dragon boat team. :) Then..they forced us to do a catwalk as a part of the markings. We r supposed to walk according 2 our dress.. I juz simply walk coz i dunno how actually a Mexican walks.. Duhh!!

After that..they did the same 4 d ladies categories n couple categories. Elly n Fara keep on making fun of each other. It was quite funny.. They announced the Best Dress winners after Jamal's presentation. I got 2nd for Men categories~~!! lalala~ For the lucky draw..trainee r not included. huhu... But at least 2 of our performance team members got it!! Our table was the luckiest table i think. Hehe..

I will post d pictures as soon as they share it in d network. If zac was there i'm sure she would have taken lots of picts. Hehe.. Unfortunately i was too shy to take picts with d artists.

Landslide Precinct 9

On 22nd March(Thursday), I reached my office at 7.40am and got a call from my SV asking to get a car and wait for my bos arrive to bring her to the landslide site. There was a lot of car and ppl waiting by the side of the road. I had to drop my bos at the road side and find parking. I grabbed my safety helmet from the back of the car and went straight to the site. This is what i saw..

My bos went straight into the meeting room where discussion among our CEO, JKR and contractor. Meanwhile i look for my SV to get info about this incident. We waited for the bos from 8.20am to 9.50am. Then i had to drive my bos back to office to retrieve some documents before going straight to another meeting. So i ended up following my bos to series of meetings til lunch hour. But i got to meet Prof Teoh from UM who is an expert Geologist working for IKRAM.

My UTP SV Mr Shafrizanisha called me at 2.15pm telling his arrival. We (me n nurhusna) went downstairs to get him. We entertained him by giving overall perspective of our environment here coz my SV n bos both r not in. He met our SV at 2.45pm and then we brought him to the landslide area. (he said landslide is x a daily issue so he wanna c it.. :p)

My bos made it out of the meeting n meet Mr Shafriza at 3.40pm accompanied by us. They get along very well i guess..since d meeting was about an hour.. Talked a lot of stuffs.. -___-"

Before this incident..we had a slab falling from balcony roof at Precinct 11 problems..and there was a worker died from falling. He fell straight from level 11 while jumping from gondola to balcony. @_@

In d mean time..i also preparing for my dance presentation during company dinner. I tried out my costume that evening..arround 7pm after practice session. I wear a Mexican outfit..coz d theme is Wild Wild West.

Hope next week no major incident will happen... *sigh*

Water Sports Carnival

Yesterday..my company organized a sports carnival but it's limited to Water sports. For this event, i joined Dragon Boat since i had joined the PjH Paddlers Club..and we do weekly dragon boat training.

For this particular event...there were 3 categories. Mixed - 20, Men - 10, and Women - 10 all at the distance of 400m. My house 'GREEN WARRIORS' got 2nd in mixed 20, and 3rd for both Men n Women 10. But it was very exciting. For the mixed 20, we had to row twice since there were only 2 big boat. We won the 1st match by 1 boat distance. But we lost the final by 1 feet distance. :( The biggest disadvantage we had was we don't have any subtitutes. This is due to the poor dividing of department into houses. My house only have Residential Departments..with average age of 37. *sigh*

One of the funniest event was 'pukul bantal' where 2 contestant will sit on a log and try to hit each other to fall into the water. The 1st match up was Women Green and Red. It's the longest pukul bantal event on that day. They continued hitting each other for more than 15 minutes. (2 kayak event finished when they hitting each others...hahaha!) In the end both of them agreed to have a draw and jump into the water together. Hehe.. The winner was then decided by coin toss. And we won the coin toss. Hahaha.. :p

So..the final result was Winner - Blue Shark, Runner Up - Yellow Dragon(is dragon usually yellow colour??), 2nd Runner Up - Green Warriors, Last Placing - Red Fighters. I really gave my all and have no regrets on our result. We had a close fight and only 2 point difference with Runner Up. I'll try to get the pictures by next week. Maybe i can upload it here. :)

ps: need to work more on improving my stamina..seems like my current training is not enuff.

SPM

Yesterday the result 4 SPM was out. I got sms from my cousin arround lunch hour asking me about my yourger sis result. She told me that her sis got 5A's. (dats wat ppl c..only A) At that time..my sis havent even go to school yet. I dunno if it was bcoz she woke up late (as she always do) or she scared to get her result. She doesnt even pick up my phone call. *sigh*

Arround 4pm dat day..I have nothing 2 do. (padahal malas nk buat!) So i gave her a call.

me: Alin! Dah amik blom result kau?
my sis: dah.. (suara x semangat)
me: haa..ni mesti dpt teruk nih.. berapa kau dpt?
my sis: 2A jer..
me: Ada fail x? Aper yg plg teruk?
my sis: Sejarah..dpt D.
me: hurm..ok ar tuh. Nnt aku blk bg aku tgk result.

I was quite suprise that she didnt fail her add math. My mom always ask me 2 teach her math n she always end up crying. (i didnt scold her..dia nanges sbb x phm.. btol..siyes x tipu..) Well..i'm glad her result was not dat bad.

Getting SPM result reminds me of my time. I was competing with 4 other cousins which r far smarter than me. My mom always compare me with my other cousins. I HATE being compared. Luckily my results r comparable with them. If not i would have lost all my self esteem. Haha.

A New Begining

Hurm..i registered this account but seems never find myself writing any post. I'm kinda new to this website..so i dun really know how to edit my page. Hentam jela..
This is my 1st time writing in here. So..what is it gonna be for my post?

Today..i woke up in the morning.. Had my prayer but can't find myself getting ready to go to office. Recently..sumthing happened to me and i am still having hard time facing it. Well..let's juz forget about it. Anything happens..life must go on..rite? Lucky for me to have some frens who always be there 4 me. Giving me advice and comfort.. Juz talking to them make me feel relieved.

Now..i think i've gathered some strenght to face my problems. Today..i will start a new life.. A new begining to me. Hoping that my frens will always be there 4 me. For my frens that care about me..thank you.
